Stowe local here. The Shaw's in Stowe is not only smaller, but more expensing than this location in Waterbury. Friendly staff, organic products/produce, and an AMAZING health food isle. They also have a very extensive beer and wine selection.
Prices are 50 percent higher than market basket. Why would anyone pay so much more?
Stowe Shaws. No large butter tubs only small, very tight isles. So small selection here is very lacking. The people are great.
Pretty good natural foods department. Lots of gluten free options. Helpful staff.
A very good supermarket for travelers visiting Stowe. I'm from Ct. and I like their meat dept, fresh produce and the well stocked isles. Friendly staff more then willing to help. Try them. You'll like them!
